Torrent Information

Torrents work using a "Peer-to-Peer" system, where people who have already downloaded files upload (or seed) them for everyone else. This is what allows torrents to stay active and be downloaded by everyone.

Seeders/Leachers

Seeders are the computers that are currently uploading the files within a torrent. The more seeders, the better.
Leachers are the computers that are currently downloading the files within a torrent. The less leachers, the better.
As a rule of thumb, you want a torrent to have more seeders than leachers, this allows for faster downloading speeds.
When you finish downloading a torrent, you are able to continue seeding it for other people to enjoy.
If a torrent has no seeders, it will not be able to be downloaded, this is called "torrent death".

File Formats

MP4 - Greatest compatibility.

MKV - Best Quality, Most Versatile, not great compatibility.

AVI - Outdated, low quality, not great compatibility.

MOV - Uncommon, decent compatibility and quality.

M4V - Proprietary Apple format, very uncommon but high quality.

VLC can play all file formats.

Streaming Information

Instead of downloading torrents, there is the option of streaming.
Using one of the streaming tools from the Dashboard, search for the content you wish to watch.
